It has got mixed reviews.
From what I have seen it is visually awesome and looks like fun. I love the movies and think the concept has promise.

Dang I was gonna get the game but they didn't have it at the target I went to, so I just got NBA2k10. I will get this game though!

Got it, so far its fun and I'm like super excited. Didnt get to play much though since I had 3 bball games but tomorrow I should get more playing time!

J-Nu, is 2k10 better then Live? I haven't purchased a b-ball game in forever, and with Carter in orlando I really want one now.

I know the question wasn't direct towards me, but I just want to get my 2 cents in. Live has, without a doubt, better gameplay. Especially with the new Live Player DNA. Players are updated every day. Say you missed a game. If you have Live, you can review all the stats from that game, so that's a plus. The Dynasty mode on Live is pretty weak, but I guess it's realistic when it comes to offseason moves. You can choose pretty much everything about your team, even the direction you're trying to go in. (Rebuilding, win it all now, Slowly Progress, ect.) Here's the gay part though. You have to PAY for Live DNA! That's a load of shit if you ask this guy. NBA 2K10 EASILY beats Live when it comes to Graphics. The Assosiation is the greatest game mode on a sports game ever. It's so realistic with the NBA.com layout. The new My Player mode allows you to take the role of a young rookie trying to make it big in the NBA. Go through Scouting Drills, Practices, Contract Negotiations, Drafts, everything. Plus, Kobe's on the cover  |

Live's DNA comes free for the 1st year. Live 10's graphics are amazing this year, except skin tone color is off on some players. Same commentary from 08 and 09.
2K10 is my first 2K game. But I'll be getting Live. Live is easier online, and ppl tend to cheat on 2k10. My player mode has its glitches like u have a choice to leave your team but it doesnt let u until end of season. Could only do drills up to 10 times when it should be more. And other stuff.
BTW beat SAW with both endings. Amazing game, 3 or 4 more trophies and i got 100%
